Today, I'm just thinking back over the years about the path that has brought me here. 

It's not quite been a year since I started this podcast. I wanted to find another way to connect with people, to share, and I love performing, so it made sense. 

But I didn't want to go too high-end. I'm not super polished and I won't build a home studio just for this. This is about me connecting with you. 

Sure, I used to freak out when there was a car going by in the background, or a bird made a loud noise (at least I never tried in the house where the goats would get all riled up with the least provocation), but COVID hit, and now I realize that this is fun for me when I can connect with you as I am. 

So, I do. 

And it is fun. 

Fun enough that I've even started to do these on video. Again, I have a lot of practicing to do, but I'm OK with that. It's fun to make these things happen and to do what I do.
